NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that T Baddiley & Sons of Carlton Forest Farm, Blyth Road, Worksop, Nottinghamshire are applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 3/28/75/64/G in order to extend the existing expiry date of their licence.
Licence 3/28/75/64/G, which has a time limited component due to expire on 31 March 2004, authorises the abstraction of 2,200 cubic metres per day and 204,570 cubic metres per year from the Sherwood Sandstone at Carlton Forest, Nottinghamshire at National Grid Ref SK 6108 8101. The licence authorises abstraction between 1 April and 31 October each year for direct spray irrigation.
There is to be no increase in the quantities currently authorised by each licence.
A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Carlton Forest Farm, Blyth Road, Worksop, Nottinghamshire between “20 March 2003” and “20 April 2003”.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Trentside Offices, Scarrington Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 6FT, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
