STOPPING-UP OF UNNECESSARY SECTION OF HIGHWAY TROY ROAD (PART) MORLEY

Notice is hereby given that Leeds City Council intend to apply to the Leeds District Magistrates Court sitting at The Courthouse, Westgate, Leeds on Wednesday 16 April 2003, at 10.00 am for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the stopping-up of the section of highway described in the Schedule hereto on the ground that it is unnecessary. The section of highway to be stopped up is shown coloured black on the Plan deposited at the Information Centre, Civic Hall, Leeds LS1 1UR and at Morley Library, Commercial Street, Morley and may be inspected there, free of charge, during normal office hours. Any person wishing to object to the proposal or make representations about it, may appear at the Leeds District Magistrates Court on the date aforesaid. Any person intending to appear before the Court at the hearing of the application is asked to notify Mr J Knipe, Development Section, Department of Legal Services, Civic Hall, Leeds LS1 1UR (quoting Ref A76/JAK/866913).
