STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAYS

The Secretary of State hereby gives notice that, on the application of South Norfolk District Council he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping Up of Highway (County of Norfolk) (No 1) Order 2003”, authorising the stopping-up of land at 2 Ladbrooke Close, Diss, in the county of Norfolk to enable the conversion of store and shop into 2 one-bedroom flats, to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to South Norfolk District Council on 21 January 2003 under Ref SW07/02/2241/CU. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Government Office for the East of England (Environment Group) Victory House, Vision Park, Chivers Way, Histon, Cambridge CB4 9ZR (quoting Ref GT/L2630/35/1/100) may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of South Norfolk Council, Long Stratton, Norwich, Norfolk. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provisions contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or any requirements of that Act or that any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 14 March 2003, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
