NOTICE OF INCREASE IN ADDITIONAL PARKING CHARGES

Notice is hereby given that following a determination by the Association of London Government Transport and Environment Committee, the Mayor of London and Secretary of State for Transport have approved the following additional parking charges, to take effect in the London Boroughs, from 1 April 2003. The fine payable for a Penalty Charge Notice issued within the borough will increase on the above date to: £100 (Band A) reduced to £50 if paid within 14 days from the date of issue of the Penalty Charge Notice. £80 (Band B) reduced to £40 if paid within 14 days from the date of issue of the Penalty Charge Notice. The penalty for contraventions of bus lane regulations will increase to £100. Other additional parking charges are increased as follows: £65 to release a vehicle from a clamp; £150 to release a vehicle from pound; £25 storage fee (per day) and £65 the fee for disposal of a vehicle. The Mayor for London has also approved that all roads within the City of Westminster will be in Penalty Charge Band A, with the exception of the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice, which will continue to form part of Penalty Charge Band B.
