THE A10 TRUNK ROAD (TURNFORD, HERTFORDSHIRE) (CLOSURE OF A GAP IN THE CENTRAL RESERVATION) ORDER 200

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A10 Trunk Road at Turnford in Hertfordshire. The effect of the Order would be to close the gap in the central reservation of the A10 opposite the junction of the A10 with Canada Lane, Turnford. A copy of the proposed Order, together with plans illustrating the proposals and a statement of the Secretary of State’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Borough of Broxbourne, Borough Offices, Bishop’s College, Churchgate, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire EN8 9XE; Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford SG13 8EQ; or obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Operations Division, Orders Team, Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL, quoting Ref HA41/7/133. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should write to the Highways Agency at the above address stating the grounds of objection by a date not later than 3 April 2003, or within 3 weeks of this publication, whichever is the latest.
