THE BRENT (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO 145) ORDER 2003

SHELDON ROAD/SYLVAN GROVE

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Brent on 10 March 2003 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, the Parking Acts of 1986 and 1989 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the ‘Doctor Parking Places’ Order will be to relocate the existing Doctor Parking place in Sheldon Road, the south-west side, from 18 metres north-west of Anson Road to Sheldon Road, the south-west side, from 28 metres south-east of Chichele Road south-eastward for 5 metres. 3. The general effect of the ‘Parking Places’ and the ‘Waiting and Loading Restriction’ Orders will be to: (a) convert the lengths of resident parking places in Sheldon Road specified in the Schedule to this notice into shared use bays; (b) designate as a shared use parking place the length of Sylvan Grove specified in the Schedule to this notice. 4. A copy of each of the Orders, which will come into operation on 24 March 2003, of the relevant Orders of 1974, 1979, 2000 and 2001 (and of the Orders which have amended those Orders) can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at: (a) The One Stop Shop, Brent Town Hall, Forty Lane, Wembley, Middlesex HA9 9HX; and (b) The One Stop Shop, Brent House, 349-357 High Road, Wembley, Middlesex HA9 6BZ. 5. Copies of the Orders may be purchased from the address mentioned in paragraph 4(b) above. 6. Any person desiring to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to any of the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. Schedule “Pay and Display” Parking Places (Maximum Stay—4 hours and no return in 2 hours) and Business/Resident Parking Places (Mondays to Saturdays 10.00 am to 9.00 pm) Sheldon Road: (a) the north-east side (i) from 29 metres north-west of Anson Road, north-westward for 12 metres; (ii) from 10 metres south-east of Sylvan Grove south-eastward for 18 metres. (b) the south-west side: (i) from 18 metres north-west of Anson Road north-westward for 6 metres; (ii) from 32 metres north-west of Anson Road north-westward for 10 metres.
