FORMAL NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER, SKELTON—3/28/77/33/G.

Take notice that D Skelton & Sons, of Bishopfield Farm, Serlby, Bawtry, Nr Doncaster is applying to the Environment Agency to vary Licence Serial No 3/28/77/33/G to abstract water from the underground strata (sherwood sandstone) at National Grid Ref SK 6472 8843, at Bishopfield Farm, Serlby, Bawtry, Nottinghamshire. The variation being applied for is to extend the time limited component part of the licence due to expire on 31 March 2004. There is no increase to the current authorised abstraction rates of 1,060 cubic metres per day and 68,500 cubic metres per year. Abstraction will take place between 1 April and 31 October each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation purposes. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Bishopfield Farm, Serlby, Bawtry, Nr Doncaster DN10 6BA, between 13 March 2003 and 10 April 2003. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Scarrington Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 5FA, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
