NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Rupert Preston and David O’nions of Follyfoot Farm, Taunton Road, North Petherton, Somerset TA6 6NW, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a bore hole at/between Grid Ref 328679.21 Easting, 131656.57 Northing, OS No 6967 at Follyfoot Farm, in the parish of North Petherton, Bridgwater, Somerset. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 1.66 cubic metres per hour, 40 cubic metres per day upto 14,000 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for fish rearing pools and additional water supply to the fishing lake/irrigation reservoir at Follyfoot Farm. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the above address, between 13 March 2003 and 10 April 2003. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Rivers House, East Quay, Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 4YS, before the end of the said period 10 April, quoting the name of the applicant.
