THE A11 TRUNK ROAD (PARK FARM ACCESS, CHALK HILL—BARTON MILLS, SUFFOLK) (CLOSURE OF A GAP IN THE CENTRAL RESERVATION) ORDER 200 

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1) and 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on a length of the A11 Trunk Road in Suffolk. The effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding through the gap in the central reservation opposite the junction of the All with the access road to Park Farm. Agricultural vehicles and any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes would be exempt from the prohibition. A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan illustrating the proposals and a statement of the Secretary of State’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Atkins—Highways and Transportation, Bay Quarry Works, Barton Mills, Bury St Edmunds IP28 6BS; Red Lodge Millennium Centre, Lavender Close, Red Lodge, Bury St Edmunds IP28 8TT, or obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Operations Division, PPD Orders Team, Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL, quoting Ref HA 41/7/142. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should write to the Highways Agency at the above address stating the grounds of objection by a date not later than 3 April 2003, or within 3 weeks of this publication, whichever is the latest.
