THE BROMLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) ORDER 1998 (AMENDMENT   ) ORDER 2003

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The effect of the Order would be: (a) to introduce Sunday waiting restrictions in Bromley Town Centre as specified in the Schedule to this notice; (b) to introduce additional “At Any Time” waiting restrictions in Anerley Road and Anerley Station Road, Anerley as specified in the Schedule to this notice; (c) to introduce additional waiting restrictions on the north-west side of Cottingham Road, Penge as specified in the Schedule to this notice. Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order. A copy of the proposed Orders and of the Orders being amended, the plans of the scheme and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environmental Services, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH, quoting Ref ADE(TP)/CC/T100/378 not later than 3 April 2003. Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this notice may be open to public inspection. Schedule Waiting and Loading Restrictions: No Waiting Between 8.30 am and 6.30 pm on Mondays to Saturdays and Between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm on Sundays: Aldermary Road, the east side, from its junction with Glebe Road to the common boundary of Nos 8 and 10; the west side, from its junction with Glebe Road to the common boundary of Nos 7 and 9. Aylesbury Road, both sides, from its junction with Westmoreland Road to the common boundary of Nos 7 and 8. Babbacombe Road, both sides, from its junction with Station Road to the north eastern boundary of No 2 Babbacombe Road. Blyth Road, the north and west side, from a point 7 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos 2 and 4 to the common boundary of No 18 and Blyth Court; the south and east side, from a point 7 metres north-east of and opposite the common boundary of Nos 2 and 4 to the southern boundary of No 9. College Road, both sides, from its junction with West Street to a point 5 metres south of the common boundary of Nos 4 and 6 College Road; the west side, from a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 12 and 14 to the common boundary of Nos 23 and 25; the east side, from the common boundary of Nos 12 and 14 to the northern boundary of No 48. Cromwell Avenue, the west side, from its junction with Masons Hill to the common boundary of Nos 22 and 24; the east side, from its junction with Masons Hill to the southern boundary of No 23. Additional Sunday restrictions from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm: Widmore Road, the north side, from a point in line with the eastern kerbline of Queens Road to the eastern boundary of No 85; the south side, from a point in line with the eastern kerbline of Queens Road to the eastern boundary of No 60. No Waiting At Any Time: Anerley Road, Anerley, the north east side, from a point 7 metres north-west of the common boundary of Nos 173 and 175 to a point 3 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos 175 and 177; the south-west side, from a point 8 metres north-west of and opposite the common boundary of Nos 173 and 175 to a point 11 metres north-west of and opposite the common boundary of Nos 175 and 177. Anerley Station Road, Anerley, the north-west and north sides, from a point 28 metres east of the eastern boundary of Nos 5 to 9 Anerley Station Road eastwards for a distance of 35 metres; the south and south east sides, from a point 25 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerbline of Minden Road to a point opposite the western flank wall of No 3. No Waiting Between 7.00 am and 7.00 pm on Mondays to Saturdays Cottingham Road, Penge, the north west side, from the back edge of footway of High Street to the south western boundary of No 7 Cottingham Road.
