NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO STOP UP AT 2-10 EPPING AVENUE AND 1-9 BOWLAND AVENUE, SUTTON, ST HELENS

Notice is hereby given that St Helens Borough Council intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Court House, Corporation Street, St Helens on Wednesday 16 April 2003, at 2.15 pm, for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act, 1980, that the highway mentioned in the Schedule hereto be authorised to be stopped up on the ground that it is unnecessary. A plan showing the highway proposed to be stopped up may be inspected, free of charge, at my office at the Town Hall, St Helens during normal office hours. Any person to whom this notice has been given or who uses the said highway and any other person who would be aggrieved by the making of the said Order may attend and be heard on the application. P Blackburn, Solicitor to the Council Schedule The highway serving 2-10 Epping Avenue and 1-9 Bowland Avenue, commencing at the rear of the footway of Bowland Avenue, adjacent to the south-west gable boundary of 1 Bowland Avenue, travelling in a north-easterly direction, for a distance of 63 metres approximately varying in width between 9 metres and 12 metres, terminating at the rear of the footway of Epping Avenue, adjacent to the north-east gable boundary of 2 Epping Avenue as shown hatched on Plan No G10/PP/E1. 12 March 2003.
