THE A497 PORTHMADOG—NEFYN CLASS 1 COUNTY ROAD (ABERERCH—LLANYSTUMDWY IMPROVEMENT) (SIDE ROADS) ORDER 1999

The National Assembly for Wales hereby gives notice that it has confirmed the above Order which was made by Gwynedd County Council, under sections 14 and 125 of the Highways Act 1980, and which, as confirmed, authorises the Council: (a) to improve, raise, lower or otherwise alter highways; (b) to stop up highways; (c) to construct new highways; (d) to stop up private means of access to premises; and (e) to provide new means of access to premises. all or in the vicinity of the A497 county road from a point 150 metres east of the Abererch west junction with the A497 for some 6.5 kilometres to a point 350 metres east of the junction of the B4354 county road with the A497. Copies of the Order, as confirmed, and of the relevant plans may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the offices of the Gwynedd County Council, Swyddfa’r Cyngor, Caernarfon, Gwynedd. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, or of any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of 10 March 2003, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order, or of any provision contained therein.
