THE NEWHAM (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO ) ORDER 200

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Newham proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Prescribed Route Order would be to impose one-way working for vehicular traffic in Kingsford Way towards its junction with Lion Road. 3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order would be to restrict waiting by vehicles (except for loading or unloading purposes) between 8.00 am and 6.30 pm on Monday to Saturday inclusive in Kingsford Way, both sides, between its junction with Tollgate Road and the entrance to Kingsford Community School staff car park. 4. Copies of the proposed Orders and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders can be inspected until 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or until the proposals are withdrawn, whichever is appropriate, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the office of the Director of Environment and Regeneration, 25 Nelson Street, East Ham, London E6 6EH. 5. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Environment and Regeneration Department on 020 8430 2722. 6. All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to the Director of Environment and Regeneration at the address shown above quoting Ref E/PTO/PD/NB by 31 March 2003. 7. Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, this Council may be legally obliged to make any comments in response to this notice open to public inspection.
