NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Anthony William James Bambridge and Emily Bambridge, trading as A.W.J.
Bambridge, of Park Farm, Moorgate, Blickling, Norfolk NR11 6PU, are applying to the
Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a chalk borehole at National
Grid Ref TG 1838 2904 at Park Farm, Moorgate, Blickling, Norfolk.
The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 1,200 cubic metres per
day and 45,455 cubic metres per year, between 1 May and 30 September each year. The
water will be used for spray irrigation and compensation water to Blickling Lake.
This licence is to replace without change to quantities or rates of abstraction, the
abstraction authorised by licence No 7/34/6/*G/0236 which expired on 30 September
2002.
A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it
may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Park Farm, Moorgate,
Blickling, Norfolk NR11 6PU, between 8 March 2003 and 7 April 2003.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so
in writing to the Environment Agency, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE, before
the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
