THE EALING (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO  ) ORDER 2002

PROPOSED 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT IN BINGLEY ROAD, OTTER ROAD, STANHOPE ROAD AND WINDMILL ROAD, GREENFORD

PROPOSED DOUBLE YELLOW LINE WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN BINGLEY ROAD, OTTER ROAD, QUEEN’S AVENUE, STANHOPE ROAD AND WINDMILL ROAD, GREENFORD

1. Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Ealing propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be:

(a) to introduce a 20 mph speed limit in Bingley Road, Otter Road, Stanhope Road and Windmill Road; and
(b) to introduce double yellow line waiting restrictions applying at all times in the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice.

3. The Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Parkman Ltd, Third Floor, 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.
4. Further information may be obtained by telephoning Parkman, on 020 8326 3013.
5. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, Parkman Ltd, 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP, quoting Ref Windmill Lane area/sjc, until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

Schedule
Windmill Lane, Greenford:

(a) the east side:

(i) between the western kerbline of Greenford Road and a point 10 metres north of that kerbline;
(ii) between a point 9 metres south of the northern boundary of No 156 a Windmill Lane and a point 10 metres south of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 141 and 143 Greenford Road;

(b) the west side:

(i) between the western kerbline of Greenford Road and a point 1 metre south of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 39 and 41 Windmill Lane;
(ii) between a point 6 metres north of the common boundary of Nos 45 and 45 a /45 b Windmill Lane and a point 22 metres north of the northern kerbline of Queen’s Avenue.

Bingley Road, Greenford:

(a) the north-east side:

(i) between the western kerbline of Greenford Road and a point 18 metres north-west of that kerbline;
(ii) between the common boundary of Nos 4 Bingley Road and 50 Stanhope Road and a point 32 metres north-west of that point;
(iii) between the eastern kerbline of Windmill Lane and a point 3 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos 6 and 8 Bingley Road;

(b) the south-west side:

(i) between the western kerbline of Greenford Road and a point 18 metres north-west of that kerbline;
(ii) between a point 13 metres north-west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 2 and 4 Bingley Road and a point 32 metres north-west of that point;
(iii) between the eastern kerbline of Windmill Lane and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 6 and 8 Bingley Road.

Queen’s Avenue, Guildford, between the western kerbline of Windmill Lane and a point 17 metres west of that kerbline.

Stanhope Road, Greenford:

(a) the north-east and east sides:

(i) between the western kerbline of Greenford Road and a point 17 metres north-west of that kerbline;
(ii) between a point 16 metres north of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 33 and 35 Stanhope Road and a point 3.6 metres opposite the common boundary of Nos 50 and 52 Stanhope Road;
(iii) between a point 4 metres south of the southern kerbline of Otter Road and a point 4 metres north of the northern kerbline of Otter Road;

(b) the south-west and west sides:

(i) between the western kerbline of Greenford Road and a point 20 metres north-west of that kerbline;
(ii) between a point 3.4 metres north of the common boundary of Nos 35 and 37 Stanhope Road and a point 37 metres north of that point;
(iii) between the northern kerbline of Otter Road and a point 3 metres north of that kerbline;
(iv) between a point 7 metres north of the common boundary of Nos 37 and 39 and the southern kerbline of Bingley Road.
