THE EALING (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO  ) ORDER 2002
PROPOSED 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT IN BLANDFORD ROAD, CRANBORNE AVENUE, DORSET AVENUE, HAREWOOD TERRACE, MANSTON AVENUE, MELBURY AVENUE, MINTERNE AVENUE, POPLAR AVENUE, SHAFTESBURY AVENUE, SHERBORNE AVENUE, STOUR AVENUE AND WIMBORNE AVENUE, SOUTHALL
PROPOSED DOUBLE YELLOW LINE WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN BLANDFORD ROAD, HAREWOOD TERRACE, MINTERNE AVENUE, POPLAR AVENUE, TENTELOW LANE AND WIMBORNE AVENUE, SOUTHALL

1. Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Ealing propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 84 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be:

(a) to introduce a 20 mph speed limit in Blandford Road, Cranborne Avenue, Dorset Avenue, Harewood Terrace, Manston Avenue, Melbury Avenue, Minterne Avenue, Poplar Avenue, Shaftesbury Avenue, Sherborne Avenue, Stour Avenue and Wimborne Avenue, Southall;
(b) to extend the double yellow line waiting restrictions applying at all times in Wimborne Avenue, Southall, on its south-west side from the north-eastern kerbline of Norwood Road by 1 metre eastwards, replacing part of the existing single yellow line waiting restrictions; and
(c) to introduce new double yellow line waiting restrictions applying at all times in the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice.

3. The Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Parkman Ltd, Third Floor, 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

5. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, Parkman Ltd, 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP, quoting Ref Windmill Lane area/sjc, until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

Schedule
Tentelow Lane, Southall, the north-west side:

(a) between a point 1 metre north of the common boundary of Nos 141 and 143 Tentelow Lane and a point 47 metres north of that point;
(b) between a point 1 metre south of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 177 and 179 Tentelow Lane and a point 33 metres south of that point.

Harewood Terrace:

(a) the east side between the north-eastern kerbline of Norwood Road and a point 11.5 metres north of that kerbline;
(b) the west side, between the north-eastern kerbline of Norwood Road and a point 7.5 metres north of that kerbline.

Minterne Avenue, Southall, between its junction with Tentelow Lane and the common boundary of Nos 2 and 2 a Minterne Avenue.

Poplar Avenue, Southall:

(A) the south-west to north-east arm:

(a) the north-west side, between the north-western kerbline of Tentelow Lane and a point 2.5 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos 171 and 173 Tentelow Lane;
(b) the south-east side, between the north-western kerbline of Tentelow Lane and a point 11 metres south-west of the south-western kerbline of the south-east to north-west arm of Poplar Avenue, Southall;

(B) the south-east to north-west arm:

(a) the north-east side:

(i) between the north-western kerbline of Tentelow Lane and a point 9 metres south-east of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 149 and 151 Tentelow Lane;
(ii) between the south-eastern kerbline of the south-west to north-east arm of Poplar Avenue and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 153 and 155 Tentelow Lane;

(b) the south-west side:

(i) between the north-western kerbline of Tentelow Lane and a point 8 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos 147 and 149 Tentelow Lane;
(ii) between the south-eastern kerbline of the south-west to north-east arm of Poplar Avenue and a point 11 metres south-east of that kerbline.
