HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 116
THE STOPPING-UP OF CHALLINOR STREET, TUNSTALL, STOKE-ON-TRENT IN THE COUNTY OF STAFFORDSHIRE

Take notice that the Stoke-on-Trent City Council intend to apply to the Fenton Magistrates’ Court under section 116 Highways Act 1980 for an Order for the stopping-up of Challinor Street, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent on the grounds that it is unnecessary.
The application is to be heard on 10 April 2003 at 2.00 pm in the Fenton Magistrates’ Court, The Courthouse, Albert Square, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent.
The effect of the Order will be to extinguish all vehicular, bridleway and pedestrian rights of passage over the land. A copy of the plan showing the position of the highway to be stopped up may be inspected, free of charge, at the Department of Environment and Transport, Civic Offices, Glebe Street, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 1RG, on weekdays until 10 April 2003, between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm.
