THE EALING (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING OUTSIDE SCHOOLS) (AMENDMENT NO  ) TRAFFIC ORDER 2003

1. Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Ealing propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order would be:

(a) to amend the name of the school for the item numbered 4 in the Schedule to the Ealing (Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) Traffic Order 1997, to read “Compton High”;
(b) to amend the name of the school for the item number 63 in the Schedule to the Ealing (Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) Traffic Order 1997, to read “Vicars Green Primary”;
(c) to reduce the length of the keep clear marking in Montpelier Road, on its north side, outside the Montpelier Primary School, from 71.30 metres to 30 metres, measuring eastwards from a point opposite the western flank wall of No 7 Montpelier Road;
(d) to extend the keep clear marking in Northcroft Road, on its south-west side, outside the Fielding Primary school, from a length of 29.40 metres to 34 metres, measuring south-eastwards from a point 13 metres north-west of a point opposite the north-eastern flank wall of No 53 Northcroft Road;
(e) to extend the keep clear marking on Oswald Road, on its south side, outside the Beaconsfield Primary School, from a length of 25.40 metres to 30 metres, measuring south and southwestwards from a point 7 metres north of a point opposite the southern boundary wall of No 119 Oswald Road;
(f) to reduce the length of the keep clear marking in Peirrepoint Road, on its east side, outside St Vincents School, from 37.50 metres to 30 metres, measuring northwards from a point opposite the southern boundary wall of No 4 Pierrepoint Road;
(g) to increase the length of the keep clear markings in Twyford Abbey Road, on its north-west side, outside West Twyford Primary School from 38.30 metres to a total length of 52 metres, measuring south-westwards from a point 21.50 metres south-west of a point opposite the south-western flank wall of No 155 Twyford Abbey Road;
(h) to introduce new school “keep clear” markings in the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice and to prohibit the stopping of vehicles thereon between the hours of 8.00 am and 9.30 am and between 3.00 pm and 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays; and
(i) to remove the school “keep clear” markings in Green Lane, on its north-west side, outside the entrance of St Marks School, in Helena Road, on its south-west side, outside the Montpelier Primary School, lying between a point 21.70 metres south-east of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 2 and 3 Helena Road and a point 25.50 metres south-east of that point, in Oldfield Lane South, on its north-west side, outside the entrances to Costons First and Middle School, lying between a point 4.60 metres north-east of a point opposite the centre line of Costons Lane and a point 25.20 metres south of that point and between a point 27.80 metres south-west of a point opposite the centre line of Costons Lane and a point 25.20 metres south-west of that point.

3. The Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection, during normal office hours, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Parkman Ltd., Third Floor, 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order.
4. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Order should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, Parkman Ltd., Third Floor, 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP, until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

Schedule
Oldfield Lane North, the east side, from the common boundary of Nos 228-230 Oldfield Lane North, extending northwards for a total distance of 45 metres.

Osbourne Road, the north side, from the eastern kerbline of the eastern arm of Osbourne Road, extending westwards for a distance of 37 metres.

Osbourne Road, the south side, from the western kerbline of the eastern arm of Osbourne Road, extending westwards for a distance of 32 metres.

Osbourne Road, the south side, from a point adjacent to the eastern flank wall of Berrymede Primary School, extending westwards for a total distance of 68 metres.
