NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Hazlewood Convenience Group 1 Ltd, of Manton Wood, Worksop, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 25/69/022/004 to abstract water from a borehole at National Grid Reference SJ 6382 9023, at Kingsland Grange, Woolston, Warrington. The variation being applied for is to increase the current authorised quantities from 50 to 65 cubic metres per hour, 1,200 to 1,560 cubic metres per day and 400,000 to 520,000 cubic metres per year and an extension to the current time limit of the licence. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge at all reasonable hours at Hazlewood Foods, Kingsland Grange, Warrington, between 6 March 2003 and 4 April 2003. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Appleton House, 430 Birchwood Boulevard, Birchwood, Warrington WA3 7WD, before the end of the said period.
