Notice is hereby given that Westminster City Council intend to increase the fees for the issue of a tradesperson’s parking permit under section 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. A tradesperson’s permit may be used in any metered, ticket metered, shared use or residents parking place in the City of Westminster and may be issued to a person providing a trade service to a customer who resides within a controlled parking zone. A tradesperson’s permit is valid for a half day (the period between 8.30 am and 1.30 pm or between 1.30 pm and 6.30 pm) and the charge is dependent on the meter tariff for the street or adjacent street to the customers premises. The existing and increased fees for tradespersons permits are as follows:
