THE BARNET (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (1997, NO 53) (AMENDMENT NO 53) TRAFFIC ORDER 2003

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on 5 March 2003, an Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This Order amends existing waiting and loading restrictions and introduces new waiting and loading restrictions in various roads as shown in the Schedules below. These waiting restrictions will ensure the free passage of vehicles, protects vehicle accesses and maintain junction safety. A copy of the proposed Order, which will come into operation on Monday 10 March 2003, a plan of the relevant area and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays excepted) for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at: (a) Traffic Section, Room 1006, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ. (b) The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG. Any person wishing to question the validity of this Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
