THE SUTTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (NO 4) (AMENDMENT NO 10) ORDER 2003
RELATING TO BROWNING AVENUE, BUCKLAND WAY, DORCHESTER ROAD AND RUSKIN DRIVE, WORCESTER PARK

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton made the above-mentioned Order on 3 March 2003, under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The principal objective of the Order is to prevent obstruction of the width restriction and junctions. 3. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce waiting and loading restrictions “no waiting at any time” and “no loading/unloading at any time” for the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. 4. A copy of the Order which will come into operation on 17 March 2003, the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order and plan showing the location and effects of the Order may be examined at: Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday; and Environment and Leisure, 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday. 5. If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any Instrument made under that Act has not been complied with that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court. Schedule (introduce waiting and loading restrictions—“no waiting at any time” and “no loading/unloading at any time”) Browning Avenue, the north side, from the north-western kerbline of Dorchester Road westwards for a distance of 10 metres. Buckland Way: (a) the north-east side, from the north-western kerbline of Dorchester Road north-westwards for a distance of 10.5 metres; (b) the south-west side, from the north-western kerbline of Dorchester Road north-westwards for a distance of 11 metres. Dorchester Road: (a) the north-west side, from the northern kerbline of Browning Avenue north-eastwards to a point 5 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos 9 and 11 Dorchester Road; (b) the south-east side, from the north-eastern kerbline of Ruskin Drive north-eastwards for a distance of 34 metres. Ruskin Drive, the north-east side, from the south-eastern kerbline of Dorchester Road south-eastwards for a distance of 10 metres. 5 March 2003.
