Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Islington proposes to build speed cushions in the Amwell area under section 90 of the Highways Act 1980. The speed cushions are designed to improve pedestrian and traffic safety by slowing down vehicles and reducing the levels of traffic. The speed cushions will be constructed and maintained with a maximum height of 75 millimetres and a width of between 1.7 and 1.9 metres in the direction of traffic at the following location: Lloyd Street, centred 1.5 metres north-east from the boundary of Nos 10 and 11. A copy of this notice and plan showing the location of the speed cushions can be inspected during normal office hours at the address shown below.
