ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A31 TRUNK ROAD (VERMIN LANE, WINTERBORNE ZELSTON) (PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN) ORDER 200
The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1) and 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A31 Trunk Road in the district of North Dorset, in the county of Dorset. The effect of the Order would be to prohibit right turns from the eastbound carriageway of the A31 into Vermin Lane, Winterborne Zelston. A copy of the draft Order, of a plan illustrating the proposal and of a statement explaining why the Secretary of State proposes to make the Order, may be inspected during office hours at the offices of Dorset County Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester DT1 1XJ, and North Dorset District Council, Nordon, Salisbury Road, Blandford Forum DT11 7LL until the end of the objection period. Any person desiring to object or make representations to the Secretary of State’s proposal should send, not later than 31 March 2003, a written statement of his or her representation or objection and of the grounds thereof to Operations Directorate, Highways Agency, Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1SZ, quoting Ref HA/A31/41/7/130. In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.
