ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE A12 TRUNK ROAD (FEERING—MARKS TEY, ESSEX) (CLOSURE OF GAPS IN THE CENTRAL RESERVATION) ORDER 200 

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1) 2(1) and (2), of and paragraph 27(1) of Schedule 9, to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(a) on the A12 Trunk Road in Suffolk. The effect of the Order would be to close the gaps in the central reservation of the A12 opposite the junction of the A12 with: (a) Damyon’s Farm Lane, (b) Easthorpe Road, and (c) C F Andersons. The A12 Trunk Road (Feering, Essex) (Prohibition of “U” Turns and Right Turns) Order 2002/92 would be revoked by this Order. A copy of the proposed Order, together with plans illustrating the proposals and a statement of the Secretary of State’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Braintree District Council, Causeway House, Bocking End, Braintree, Essex CM7 9HB; Feering Community Centre, Coggeshall Road, Feering, Colchester, Essex CO5 9QB, or obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Operations Division PPD Orders Team, Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL, quoting Ref HA 41/7/139. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should write to the Highways Agency at the above address stating the grounds of objection by a date not later than 27 March 2003, or within 3 weeks of this publication, whichever is the latest.
