NEW ROADS AND STREET WORKS ACT 1991, SECTION 58

WORKS PROGRAM 2003-2004, ADDITIONAL WORKS

Notice is hereby given, in pursuance of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, that it is intended to undertake substantial roadworks at the locations indicated on the list below. Works will commence on or after Monday 2 June 2003. 1. Mill Lane, Denton: Northstead Avenue to River Tame. 2. Henry Street, Hyde: Perrin Street to Church Street. The above works will comprise of reconstruction of the footways and carriageways within the limits described above. 1. Windmill Lane, Denton: Training Centre to M60 Bridge. 2. Town Lane, Denton: Parts, Stockport Road to Ross Lave Lane. 3. Acre Street, Denton: Manchester Road to Duke Street. 4. Chapel Street and Perrin Street, Hyde: Full length. 5. Ashworth Lane, Mottram: No 11 to No 27 east side. 6. Broadbottom Road, Mottram: Ashworth Lane to No 54 west side and Church Brow to No 173 east side. The above works will comprise of reconstruction of the footways within the limits described above. 1. Oldham Street, Hyde: Chapel Street to Church Street. 2. Croft Street, Hyde: Market Street to Henry Street and Gt Norbury Street to Alexandra Street. 3. Underwood Road, Hattersley: Hattersley Road West to Polperro Walk. 4. Fields Farm Road, Hattersley: Full length. 5. Ashworth Lane, Mottram: Stockport Road to John Kennedy Road and Market Street to No 10. 6. Market Street, Mottram: Hyde Road to Ashworth Lane. The above works will comprise of reconstruction of the carriageways within the limits described above. Street works as defined in section 48(3) of the NRASWA 1991 shall be restricted on the above mentioned schemes (except as mentioned in section 58(5) of the Act).
