ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A420 TRUNK ROAD (BUCKLAND ROAD, OXFORDSHIRE) (PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN) (EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2003

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he made this Order on 27 February 2003, coming into force on 17 March 2003, on the A420 Trunk Road near Buckland in the district of the Vale of White Horse in the county of Oxfordshire.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicles proceeding westwards on the A420 Trunk Road from turning right into Buckland Road, near Buckland in Oxfordshire.
A copy of the made Order, of a plan illustrating the proposal and the alternative route, and a statement setting out the Secretary of State’s reasons for proceeding by way of an experiment and whether he intends to consider making a permanent Order in like terms, may be inspected during office hours at the offices of Environmental Services, Oxfordshire County Council, Speedwell House, Speedwell Street, Oxford OX1 1NE and during opening hours (closed on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons) at Bampton Post Office, Bridge Street, Bampton, Oxfordshire OX18 2HA. They may also be obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Operations Directorate South West, Zone 2/03K, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6HA, quoting Ref HA 041/029/110.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, or of regulations made thereunder, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks from 27 February 2003, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or any provision contained therein.
