THE BEXLEY (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO 2) TRAFFIC ORDER 2003

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley on 3 March 2003 made the following Order under sections 6 and 124 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Order, the Bexley (Prescribed Routes) (No 2) Traffic Order 2003 would be to exempt cycles from the closure in Robin Hood Lane, Bexleyheath. 3. A copy of the Order, the Bexley (Prescribed Routes) (No 2) Traffic Order 1987, a plan showing the length of road to which the Order relates, and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, at The Information Centre, Bexley Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB for a period of 6 weeks from the date the Order was made. 4. A copy of the Order, plan and statement of reasons may also be inspected at The Central Library, Townley Road, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7HJ. 5. Further information may be obtained by telephoning Mr Smith on 020 8303 7777, Ext 2980. 6. Copies of the Order may be purchased from Room 37, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB. 7. Persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
