NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Bekaert Fencing Ltd, of PO Box 119, Shepcote Lane, Sheffield S9 1TY, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary Licence Serial No 2/27/06/082 which authorises the abstraction of water from a brick lined sump at National Grid Ref SK 3938 9035 at Bekaert Fencing Ltd, Sheffield Road.
The variation being applied for is to increase quantities from 5 cubic metres per hour, 120 cubic metres per day, 38,640 cubic metres per year to 20 cubic metres per hour, 480 cubic metres per day and 50,000 cubic metres per year.
A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Tinsley Wire Reception between Monday 3 March 2003 and Monday 24 March 2003.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Ridings Area, Phoenix House, Global Avenue, Leeds LS11 8PG, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
