ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A503 GLA ROAD (LONDON BOROUGH OF ISLINGTON) PRESCRIBED ROUTE TRAFFIC ORDER 2003
1. Transport for London gives notice that on 22 January 2003, it made this Order, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 25 January 2003. 2. The general nature and effect of the Order is to amend the prescribed route Orders along the A503 Seven Sisters Road in order to facilitate the Finsbury Park Traffic Scheme. The Order will re-introduce the right hand turn from Seven Sisters Road into Blackstock Road and the right hand turn from St Thomas’s Road into Seven Sisters Road, as well as to re-introduce two-way traffic in Stroud Green Road between Seven Sisters Road and Station Place. These changes form part of the Finsbury Park Traffic Management Scheme. 3. The roads affected by the Order are the A503 Seven Sisters Road, Blackstock Road, St Thomas’s Road and Stroud Green Road. 4. A copy of the Order, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of: Transport for London—Street Management, Statutory Functions—Traffic Orders, 1st Floor Annexe, 25 Eccleston Place, London SW1W 9NF; and Law and Public Services, London Borough of Islington, Town Hall, 222 Upper Street, London N1 1YA. 5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers or that any of the relevant requirements have not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
