NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that A. G. Barr plc of 1306 Gallowgate, Glasgow G31 4DS, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 3/28/70/72/G to abstract water from the Sherwood Sandstone at National Grid Ref SK 5664 5934 at Bellamy Road, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire NG18 4LN. The variation being applied for is to extend the current expiry date of the licence from 31 August 2003. There is no increase to the current authorised licenced quantities of 1,200 cubic metres per day and 300,000 cubic metres annually. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at A.G. Barr plc, Bellamy Road, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire NG18 4LN between 22 January 2003 and 26 February 2003. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Area Flood Defence and Water Resources Manager, The Environment Agency, Trentside, Scarrington Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 5FA, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
