PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER SECTION 11 OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT 1990 PART 1
INTEGRATED POLLUTION CONTROL
Notice is hereby given that European Vinyls Corporation (UK) Ltd, has applied to the
Environment Agency for a variation to an existing Integrated Pollution Control (IPC)
authorisation to operate a polymerisation of Vinyl Chloride process at PVC9 plant,
Hillhouse International, Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire FY5 4QD, in the borough of
Wyre Borough Council of Lancashire.
Information relating to the above IPC application for authorisation to operate the
polymerisation of Vinyl Chloride process is held in registers at the following locations:
Environment Agency, Customer Contact, Appleton House, 430 Birchwood Boulevard, Birchwood,
Warrington WA3 7WD, and Wyre Borough Council, Wyre Civic Centre, Breck Road, Poulton-Le-Fylde,
Lancashire.
Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above addresses
during normal office hours. In addition, Members of the public who wish to obtain
a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment
of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying.
Any objections or representations to the above IPC application should be made in
writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, quoting Ref BT 9771, within
28 days from the date of this public notice.

Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless
the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there
is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been
a request.
In this case there will be included in the register a statement indicating only that
representations have been made which have been the subject of such a request.
