NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Liverpool City Council, of the Mansion House, Calderstones Park, Liverpool, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a borehole into sandstone, at National Grid Ref SJ 362 936, at Stanley Park, in the City of Liverpool. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 6.5 cubic metres per hour, 155 cubic metres per day, 21,128 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for recreational purposes filling of lake in park. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Millennium House, Victoria Street, Liverpool, between 14 January 2003 and 18 February 2003. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Appleton House, 430 Birchwood Boulevard, Warrington, Cheshire WA3 7WD, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
