TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he proposes to make
an Order under section 247 of the above Act, which will authorise the stopping-up
of an area of highway at Woodford Mill, Mill Street, Witney, Oxfordshire OX28 6BX.
If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable
the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance
with planning permission granted to Cluttons Daniel Smith by West Oxfordshire District
Council on 24 October 2001 under Ref W99/0828.
Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected at all reasonable hours
during the 28 days commencing on 8 January 2003, at the offices of West Oxfordshire
District Council, Woodgreen, Witney, Oxfordshire OX28 1NB, and may be obtained, free
of charge, from the Head of Transport (West), Government Office for the South East,
(quoting Ref GOSE 029/001/OXON/060) at the address below.
During the above-mentioned period of 28 days anyone may object to the making of the
Order by writing to the Secretary of State, quoting Ref GOSE 029/001/OXON/60, and
addressing their objection to the Head of Transport (West), Government Office for
the South East, Third Floor, Bridge House, 1 Walnut Tree Close, Guildford GU1 4GA.
In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of
any objection may be communicated to the applicant and other people who may be affected
by it.
