The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act, which will authorise the stopping-up of an area of highway at Travellers Rest, Tring Road, Edlesborough, Buckinghamshire LU6 2EE. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to R P S Chapman Warren by Aylesbury Vale District Council on 22 May 2001 under Ref 01/00696/APP. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected at all reasonable hours during the 28 days commencing on 18 December 2002 at the offices of Aylesbury Vale District Council, 66 High Street, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire HP20 1SD, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the Head of Transport (West), Government Office for the South East, (quoting Ref GOSE 029/001/BUC/013) at the address below. During the above-mentioned period of 28 days anyone may object to the making of the Order by writing to the Secretary of State, (quoting Ref GOSE/029/001/BUCK/013) and addressing their objection to the Head of Transport (West), Government Office for the South East, Third Floor, Bridge House, 1 Walnut Tree Close, Guildford GU1 4GA. In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection may be communicated to the applicant and other people wo may be affected by it.
