PROPOSED STOPPING-UP OF PART OF MITCHELL STREET, LONDON EC1
The London Borough of Islington (“the Council”) hereby gives notice that it is proposed to make an Order under section 247 of the the Town and County Plannning Act 1990 as amended by section 270 and Schedule 22 of the London Authority Act 1999 to authorise the stopping-up of an area of Mitchell Street, London EC1. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to R Van Hove, of Levitt Bernstein, by the Council on 19 November 2002, under reference P021846. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected at all reasonable hours during 28 days commencing on 12 December 2002, at the Council’s offices and may be obtained, free of charge, from London Borough of Islington (quoting ref TT) at the address stated below. Any person may object to the making of the proposed Order within the period of 28 days commencing on 12 December 2002, by notice to the Council quoting the above reference, at the London Borough of Islington, Law and Public Services, Room 220, Town Hall, Upper Street, London N1 3UD. In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.
