HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 116

Notice is hereby given that application will be made to the Justices of the Peace sitting at the Magistrates Court, Bishopgate, Norwich, on Thursday 16 January 2003, at 10.00 am, for an Order authorising the diversion of a section of the public right of way known as CRF24 in the Parish of Saxlingham Nethergate.
The length of the existing route to be stopped up starts from a point approximately 78 metres north-east of the southern boundary line of the property known as Woodhouse Farm and runs in a north-westerly direction for approximately 40 metres before passing westwards along the southern side of the dwelling known as Woodhouse Farm for approximately 25 metres and then continuing in a north-easterly direction for approximately 22 metres then passing in a north-westerly direction for approximately 21 metres before turning due north for a further 44 metres, a total length of approximately 152 metres.
The length of the route to be created runs from a point approximately 78 metres north-east of the southern boundary line of the property known as Woodhouse Farm and runs along an existing track which is approximately 3.5 metres wide in a north-north-easterly direction for approximately 85 metres before turning to follow the existing track in a generally westerly direction for a further 82 metres to join the remaining length of the public right of way known as CRF24 Saxlingham Nethergate, a total length of approximately 167 metres.
A plan showing the existing route to be stopped up coloured blue and the route to be created coloured pink may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich and also at the offices of South Norfolk District Council, Swan Lane, Long Stratton, Norfolk.
Any person using the highway or any person aggrieved by the making of the Order, has a right to be heard before the Justices.
