ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE A6 TRUNK ROAD (CLAPHAM BYPASS, C46 HIGHFIELD ROAD NORTHBOUND SLIP ROAD, BEDFORDSHIRE) (30 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2002

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under sections 84(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on the A6 Trunk Road at Clapham in Bedfordshire. The effect of the Order, which will come into force on 12 December 2002, will be to impose a 30 miles per hour speed limit on a length of the slip road to and from the northbound carriageway of the A6 Trunk Road, Clapham Bypass and the C46 Highfield Road, Oakley, from its Junction with Highfield Road to a point 46 metres south of that junction. A copy of the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Carillion-URS, URS House, Horne Lane, Bedford MK40 1TS; Bedford Borough Council, Town Hall, St Paul’s Square, Bedford MK40 1SJ; or obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Operations Division, Orders Team, Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL, quoting Ref HA28/1/57.
