BURY STREET, CRESCENT ROAD AND JUNCTION ROAD—AT ANY TIME WAITING RESTRICTIONS

Further information may be obtained by telephoning Traffic and Parking Services, telephone No 020 8379 3550. 1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield on 2 December 2002 made the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No 197) Order 2002 under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Order will be, in connection with route safety measures, to prohibit in certain lengths of Bury Street, Crescent Road and Junction Road: (a) waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle) at any time; (b) waiting by vehicles for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for a period of more than 20 minutes in the same place between 11.00 am and 6.30 pm throughout the week. 3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 8 December 2002, of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order and other relevant documents can be inspected at the Reception Desk, “B” Block, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex EN1 3XD, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made. 4. Copies of the Order, may be obtained from Traffic and Parking Services, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex EN1 3XD. 5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
