PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000
INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Owens Corning Fiberglas (GB) Limited, has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the manufacture of glass fibres and the production of organic chemicals used in the glass fibre industry.
The installation is located at Bryn Lane, Wrexham Industrial Estate, Wrexham LL13 9JU, in the County Borough of Wrexham. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.
Information relating to the IPPC application for a permit to operate the Wrexham Glass Fibre installation is held in registers at the following locations:

The Environment Agency, Chester Road, Buckley, Flintshire CH7 3AJ; and
Wrexham County Borough Council, Crown Buildings, PO Box 1297, Chester Street, Wrexham LL13 8ZE.

Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying.
Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice:

Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
