NOTICE OF THE ISSUE OF A SUBMARINE PIPE-LINE WORKS AUTHORISATION

The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry hereby gives notice that he has decided to issue, and in consequence has issued, a works authorisation to be held by ATP Oil and Gas (UK) Limited whose address is Victoria House, London Square, Cross Lanes, Guildford, Surrey GU1 1UJ for the construction of a pipe-line system between the Helvellyn field and the Amethyst platform. Except with the consent of the Secretary of State, the 219 millimetre carbon steel pipe-line shall be used only to convey gas and the umbilical pipe-line shall only be used to convey methanol and annulus fluids. The pipe-lines may be used by the holder and with the holder’s agreement, and with the consent of the Secretary of State, by other persons. ATP Oil and Gas (UK) Limited have been appointed operators of the pipe-lines. M Grist, Field Development Manager, OG Abedeen
