Notice is hereby given that the Worcestershire County Council intend to apply to the Magistrates’ Court for the Petty Sessional Division of South Worcestershire on 6 September 2002, at 3.00 pm, for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the stopping-up of the now redundant highway at Gurneys Lane, Droitwich on the ground that the same is unnecessary. The length of highway intended to be stopped-up by the proposed Order is shown on a plan which is available for inspection at the offices of Worcestershire County Council, County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester and Wychavon District Council, Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Station Road, Pershore.
