THOMAS SAGAR INSURANCES LIMITED RETIREMENT BENEFITS SCHEME
SECTION 27, TRUSTEE ACT 1925 NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that any persons having a claim or interest in the Thomas Sagar Insurances Retirement Benefits Scheme (“the Scheme”) (including a claim by any employees of Thomas Sagar Insurances Limited who worked part time between 8 April 1976 and 15 October 1982, to backdated membership of the Scheme from which they were then excluded) are required to send particulars of such claim or interest in writing by registered post to the Trustees of the Scheme c/o Mr M Smith, Thomas Sagar Insurances Limited, 30 Willow Street, Accrington, Lancashire BB5 1LU, within two months of the date below. The Trustees of the Scheme will distribute the remaining Scheme assets in accordance with the provisions of the Trust Deed and Rules of the Scheme among the Members and any other persons entitled to benefit having regard only to claims and interests of which they have had notice by the end of that two month period and will not in respect of the property so distributed be liable to any person of whose claim or interest they shall not have had notice by the end of the two month period. Any person who has already been notified by the Trustees of having an entitlement under the Scheme, or has made a claim and received a response from the Trustees, need not re-apply to the Trustees. 21 June 2002.
