THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (WOODLAWN ESTATE) (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) ORDER 200

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make an Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Order will be: (a) to introduce one-way workings in: (i) Ellerman Avenue, the south-west to north-east arm between its junctions with Sheringham Avenue and Lyndhurst Avenue; (ii) Lyndhurst Avenue, between its junctions with Cheyne Avenue and Chiltern Avenue; (iii) Waverley Avenue, between its junctions with Cheyne Avenue and Chiltern Avenue; (b) to provide contra-flow cycle lanes in: (i) Ellerman Avenue, the south-west to north-east arm between its junctions with Lyndhurst Avenue and Sheringham Avenue; (ii) Lyndhurst Avenue, between its junctions with Chiltern Avenue and Cheyne Avenue; (iii) Waverley Avenue, between its junctions with Chiltern Avenue and Cheyne Avenue; (c) to introduce banned right turns from Ellerman Avenue, Lyndhurst Avenue and Waverley Avenue into Hanworth Road, and from Handworth Road into Ellerman Avenue, Lyndhurst Avenue and Waverley Avenue. 3. Copies of the draft Order, a plan and the Council’s statement of reasons can be inspected at: (a) the Heathfield Branch Library, Percy Road, Whitton TW2 6JL; (b) the Whitton Branch Library, 141 to 145 Nelson Road, Whitton TW2 7BB; and (c) the Civic Centre (Second Floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham, between 9.15 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays for a period of 21 days from the date of this notice. 4. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Highways and Transport, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ, within 21 days of the date of this notice giving the grounds of their objection.
