THE KINGSTON UPON THAMES (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO 6/2002) TRAFFIC ORDER 2002
ALEXANDRA DRIVE/BERRYLANDS ROAD/HOLLYFIELD ROAD/KING CHARLES ROAD, SURBITON

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames on 21 March 2002 made the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Order, which will come into operation on 2 April 2002, will to to: (a) introduce double yellow line waiting restrictions, operating “at any time”, at the following locations: junction of King Charles Road/Hollyfield Road/Alexandar Drive; junction of King Charles Road and Berrylands Road; and outside Nos 22 to 31 King Charles Road (both sides). (b) extend the existing loading restrictions at the King Charles Road/Berrylands Road junction. 3. The Order, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including plans showing the locations of the proposed restrictions and the effect of the Order, are available for inspection at: 2nd Floor Reception Area, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1EU, between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm, on Monday to Fridays inclusive; and Surbiton Library, Ewell Road, Surbiton during normal opening hours. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
