NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF A REVISED LOCAL PLAN
NEWCASTLE UNDER LYME LOCAL PLAN 2011

Newcastle under Lyme Borough Council has revised the above-named plan. If and when this revised plan is adopted it will form part of the development plan for the area of Newcastle under Lyme Borough. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the plan are available for public inspection at Civic Offices, Merrial Street, Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire ST5 2AG, free of charge, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on Monday to Friday and also at Kidsgrove Town Hall and libraries in Ashley, Audley, Clayton, Kidsgrove, Newcastle, Silverdale, Talke and Wolstanton, during their normal opening hours. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the revised plan should be sent in writing to Head of Regeneration and Planning Services, Newcastle under Lyme Borough Council, Civic Offices, Merrial Street, Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire ST5 2AG, by 29 April 2002. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption or rejection of the plan. Objections may only be made in respect of those parts of the plan which have been revised since the original plan was made available on 30 May 2001. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on Monday 29 April 2002, will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or other hearing.
