TRANSFER OF GENERAL BUSINESS
Notice is hereby given that XL Winterthur International Insurance Company Limited
(“XLWIICL”) applied to the Financial Services Authority on 30 November 2001 for its
approval, pursuant to Part II of Schedule 2C to the Insurance Companies Act 1982,
of a transfer to Rhodia Assurances (“Rhodia”) of all its rights and obligations under
motor policies written or assumed by it in France prior to 1 July 2001.
Copies of the statement of particulars of the proposed transfer are available for
inspection at the office of XLWIICL in London at Winterthur House, 34 Leadenhall Street,
London EC3A 1AX, and in France at Tour Winterthur, 102 Terrasse Boieldieu, 92085 Paris
La Defénse Cédex from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, from Mondays to Fridays (public holidays
excepted) until 22 April 2002.
Written representations concerning the transfer may be sent to the Financial Services
Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS before 21 May 2002.
The Financial Services Authority will not determine the application until after considering
any representations made to it before that date.
