NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that David Beynon, of Railtrack PLC (In Railway Administration), Railtrack House, Euston Square, London NW1 2EE, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from made ground at National Grid Ref SX 524 557, at Laira HMD, Embankment Road, Plymouth PL4 9JN. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 25 cubic metres per hour, 600 cubic metres per day, 219,000 cubic metres per year. The water will be used to facilitate remedial works at the Laira HMD site. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at URS Site Office, Laira HMD, Embankment Road, between 13 March 2002 and 10 April 2002. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Sir John Moore House, Victoria Square, Bodmin, Cornwall PL31 1EB, before the end of the said period.
