THE GOODS VEHICLES (ENFORCEMENT POWERS) REGULATIONS 2001 (S.I 2001/3981)

Notice is given that at 11.20 am and 12.20 pm on 1 March 2002, at Egdon A4538 and GVTS Kidderminster, Worcestershire, the Vehicle Inspectorate Executive Agency, by virtue of powers under regulation 3 of the Goods Vehicles (Enforcement Powers) Regulations 2001 (the “2001 Regulations”), detained the following vehicles:

Registration No: C734 DYC, Make: Scania, Type: 3 Axle Tipper and
Registration No: D172 MOL, Make: Scania, Type: 3 Axle Skip Carrier.

At the time the vehicles were detained they bore the livery of Blackpole Recycling and D172 MOL, was carrying a skip laden with soil and C734 DYC, was carrying soil. Any person having a claim to the vehicle is required to establish their claim in writing, on or before 26 March 2002, by sending it by post to the Vehicle Inspectorate at Road Transport Enforcement Division, GVTS, Granby Avenue, Garretts Green, Birmingham B33 0SS (regulations 9, 10 and 22 of the 2001 Regulations). If, on or by that date given in this notice, no person has established that he is entitled to the return of the vehicles, the Vehicle Inspectorate shall be entitled to dispose of it as it thinks fit (regulations 14 and 15 of the 2001 Regulations).
Any person having a claim to the contents of the above vehicle or any part thereof is required to establish their claim in writing, on or before 26 March 2002, by sending it by post to the address given above. If, on or by the date given in this notice, no person has established that he is entitled to the return of the contents, the Vehicle Inspectorate shall dispose of them as it thinks fit (regulations 16 and 17 of the 2001 Regulations).
