NOTICE OF APPLICATIONS FOR LICENCES TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that (1) EG, PJ & RJ Cary, Manor Farm, Upton Noble, Shepton Mallet, Somerset and (2) PAVH (International) Ltd, Hotel Victoria, East Street, Newquay, Cornwall, are applying to the Environment Agency for licences to abstract water from: (1) Forest Marble/Fullers Earth at National Grid Ref. ST 712 392 and (2) Slates at National Grid Ref. SW 813 617. The proposals are to abstract water at the following rates: (1) 20 cubic metres per day; 7,300 cubic metres per year for agriculture (2) 85 cubic metres per day; 14,850 cubic metres per year for commercial use. Copies of the applications and any maps, plans and other documents submitted with them may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours, at the relevant address above between 23rd February 2001 and 23rd March 2001. Any person who wishes to make representations about either of the applications should do so in writing to the Environment Agency at the following addresses: For (1) Rivers House, East Quay, Bridgwater, Somerset; For (2) Sir John Moore House, Victoria Square, Bodmin, Cornwall; before the end of the said period.
